Great view for worker improvements

If you click that toggle yield button (that shows the food/production/commerce for each tile) you can see which tiles are being worked, without having to enter the city screen. The icons that are being worked are bigger than the ones that aren't. So, keep this view on, and you can easily see whether you need to send a worker to improve the tile.

Yes it can be handy, but makes the map too busy to be on all the time.

Indeed. I even find it all a bit dotty when it's the settlers move, and suddenly all I can see are yield icons everywhere.
