d:\ is not a valid win32 application

I have tried to install the game but the autorun doesn't work. When I go into My Computer and click on the drive, I get the message "d:\ is not a valid win32 application". When I explore the disc and try to use the setup.exe directly from there I get "d:\setup.exe is not a valid win32 application". I have tried copying the disc to my c: drive but then when I try to run the setup I get a message saying: "Unhandled Exception Error number: 0x80040702 Description: Failed to load DLL: DSETUP"

Any ideas how I can get the game to install?

What version of Windows are you running?

It's Windows XP home edition

I'd try another CD drive, either on that box or anaother. Failing that, take the media back.

Perhaps your disc needs to cleaned or has a scratch. If so, dsetup.dll might not have been copied tp your hard drive.
