I had this idea, i'd have the game generate maps and i'd go into the world builder and look at em and see what they were like.
Only flaw in this plan was that after getting into the worldbuilder, i couldn't zoom out far enuf to view the extents of the map, nor could i scroll around much. i mean i could zoom way the hell out, but then my camera movement was limited to always having my start settler on screen.
I remember zooming out once (only had the game a few days) and the map wrapping around on itself into a globe which was cool . . . but . . . well it's just wierd not being able to scroll around infinitely left to right on the map.
and before anyone says, it wasn't the map style i chose being non-wrap. i know the continents style wraps, and that's one of em i tried.
