Food/Hammers/Gold not showing

I'm seeing a problem where the food/hammer/gold icons are not showing properly on the map. Instead, I get a food + what looks like the end of a loaf of bread side by side on all tiles.

Everything else works more or less correctly (the "pointers" to ressources are not too clear, though), but this was sort of the major disturbing problem I've seen, until the game started CTD in the 1960s...

I did have some more problems earlier on, until I updated my drivers. The game did complain that my machine did not meet specs first time I ran it (I don't understand why, because I've double-checked, and it certainly does!).

Anyone else seen anything similar? Misery loves company.

you have an nVIDIA 4### series video card. There are a large number of us with this problem

no known fix yet - though there have been several who claim to have been told that this is a priority issue for the support crew.
