Can anyone explain it? Does it just make everything take longer to build, or just drag out technology? Turn limit extension to 550?
Because, thus far, my impression is that things run a little too fast for my tastes on Standard. I'd like slower technological growth, and maybe a little faster production for units and buildings (though that could just be my lack of skill), so as to have more time and ability to play around in each era, especially the Industrial and Modern ones, which kinda feel like "Here's some bombs! And planes! Whoops, Space Race! You're done!"
