Hi all,
I got Civ4 last Thursday, played it the whole weekend and finished it. I had one or two crashes but nothing annoying.. but today I tried to load a saved game and it crashed after taking my first turn.. and by crash I mean the computer restarted.
I went back into Civ and tried again, this time it crashed as soon as I entered my saved game.
Tried a third time and it crashed while I was creating a custom game.... all of them were restart comp crashes.
I'm not excessively technically savvy, so does anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this problem??
Here are my specs:
AMD 2000
1 gig DDR ram
40 gig HD
Radeon 9600xt

PS - I too have that annoying wonder movie sound problem. It also cuts out in the end movie when you win the game on conquest :P But I've been reading up on the threads about that... looks like I'll be waiting for the patch.
