Sound Messed Up!

I'm one of those which have the luck to be able to play the game, but have some complaints. During my first game, absolutely everything was fine, but after I loaded for the first time, I discovered that I, too, have the problem with the Wonder Movies with skipping sound. As if that wasn't enough, almost ALL music in-game, skips. It skips a lot. So do most audio effects, from the things the units say to the neat sound effect that plays after you level up a unit. Everything. And it's a darn shame cause this game has wonderful music and sound. So what could the problem be? I tried changing speaker setting to no avail. Specs:

2800+ AthlonXP on Abit NF7-S, NForce 2 Chipset
1024MB RAM 333MHz
Radeon 9800 PRO
SB Audigy 2 OEM
