Bug?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I just don't get it. I rename my 1st city with a name different from the computer generated names. When I'm 1st to research monotheism and have all the necessary tech's to build temples, the game wont let me: [1] make Judaism my state religion [2] build temples. Also, [3] my religious advisor tells me that Judaism was founded in a city "unknown." Any help would be appreciated.

Just discovered that even if I keep the computer generated name, the effect is the same as stated above.

Haven't seen that. Did you give it a turn or two to announce that Judaism had founded, and does one of your cities have the Star of David with a little yellow star on it indicating the home city of Judaism?
