A calv maybe, but a sword is not very effective on objects it cannot reach.

Maybe the copter had to land for some reason and the pilots were ambushed while out of the copter.

The "gunship" is really a misnomer, it is more of a "lance ship" and it charges people. Hence pikemen should be effective against them.

This is how a knight can win.

You throw the sword up in the air so it goes through the window of the helicopter gunship and gets the pilot in the throat. Gunship crashes.

Only a matter of time before Rambo or Arnie shows how this is done.

Actually Arnie don't need a sword at al. He just will sharpen some stick. But not too sharp. After all it is just a shopper. with a really sharp stick he could get a battleship.

I didn't realize helicopters could stay aloft indefinitely.

Hum, can you reach just a little farther? Actually I should not even response to this nonsense.

Sling shot into the rotor blades? Helicopter bumps into the scenery?

If anyone mentions conventional (1960's) AA shooting down Stealth Fighters - that has been done before.

Clearly, the knights mooned the helicopter which had to land so the pilots could get out and moon the knights right back. More knights could certainly have been waiting in the bushes as they would only need a few knights to match the number of possible moons coming back from the small number of pilots.

                        I can't believe I just typed that.
