Whenever we've opened a diplomacy screen during Hot Seat, the other side is by default "they do not agree" and nothing can be tabled. Anything offered just vanishes from the table and the only option is to close the diplomacy window.
Are we doing something wrong? This occurs whether we launch from the foreign affairs advisor or by clicking on another player's name in the ranking window.
Two players did successfuly conclude a cease fire, and another two players agreed to open borders, but no other trading has been successful.
Also, there' s no leader graphic in any of the instances we've opened diplomacy.
