Yup, same with me, tried so many combinations that I got lost in whole that mess;-) Yesterday, after many attempts that failed, it worked out with AGP reduced from 8x to 4x...but today it looks like it was just a lucky coincidence... The worst thing is that it's hard to find the rule what's wrong...sometimes it works, but usually it doesn't....this is frustrating, hopefully the patch will fix it
(btw: in my case with 4x or fast write off, the gfx were not corrupted, but the game was running extremely slow, actually I'd say it was completely dead)

just FYI: turning off above-mentioned options (in all configurations) didn't help at all...however, I've installed back the old 4.10 drivers, set graphic details to medium (honestly can't see any difference comparing to high) and virtual memory to appx 1,5MB (both min & max settings)...and now it works perfectly fine...
on the other hand, the patch is coming pretty soon so hopefully it won't be necessary to "play" with all those settings combinations;-)

My 1st 9800pro had the fan/heatsink jiggle loose. Heat would subsequently cause symptoms similar to that in the original poster's images when I'd play 3D games.
