could someone please help....i'm not getting the "prompt to select an extraction file"when i go to open the"art.0fpk"file it just says that the file is emty.im not sure what i'm doing wrong its probably suthin stupid.....

Don't "open" it, "unpack" it. (The option is on the build menu.)
Also, google up the "how to ask questions the smart way" article. You could have helped us answer you by identifying the program you were trying to run, the instructions you followed (say, a link to the thread), and the exact menu and menu item you were selecting.
