I was wondering if I'm the only one with this problem. I've got a 1.8 GHz AMD, 1 gig RAM, a 128 MB Radeon graphics card and loads of room on the HD.
My Civ4 Installation will absolutely _not_ stay stable. I've updated drivers and done the ring-around-the rosy installation and everything, but it seems I only get to actually get the game started about one time in 20. When it does start, about half the time, it dies after a few minutes. And I mean really dies. The computer goes into a coma with the disk power light on, the screen blank and absolutely no way to communicate with it.
I've even turned by graphics card down to 4x. Nothin' helps.
Anyone?
