Old messages?

Is there a way to view messages that have scrolled off the screen? I'm getting to have pretty long turns on a large map, and there are just too many things that happen before my turn starts.

In the top left of your screen by the technology/culture slider there is a little notepad and pencil icon, click on it. It has the event log/combat log/and one other I think, lets you look over anything you might have missed.

Ahh! That log is most useful.
