Aggressive as a leader trait gives a free promotion. I haven't played one yet, so I can't say for certain. Does it give 2 XP with the Combat I promotion already assigned, or does the unit just start with the base amount of XP and the promotion?Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.

It might look like a 10 exp unit to others though, even if it just a lower level one for an aggressive civ.

Or you could pair it with the Red Cross and have every unit also have medic I for free. Just make sure the city can grow very large and has plenty of production.
