I also had a run in with Bismark.

I share the same sentiments. You like to start wars do you?

I wanted to test out the lines and signs that you can use... A VERY NICE FEATURE!!!

thanks. I was testing out those markup tools (don't know what to call them actually)

That's going to be great for demogames, PBEMs and even SP. Sometimes, i get into that mode where I rename every unit created. Know I can name the geography -- and toss insults at the other players

oh forgot to answer -- yes, Bismark declared war on me five times in that game. No other nation started a war with me. I even gave him stuff, but he was never satisfied.

Sounds to me like he's just asking for a good'ol invasion en masse where you take him out and yoink what he does have...

Sorry, but I only got a lot of stuff from Bismarck cos I did a seminar on him and read his autobiography and collected works. He surely was a fascinating man.

Another great quote I like that applies to Civ as well:

"Great empires are not maintained by timidity." - Tacitus

And my all-time favourite Bismarck quote:

"Laws are like sausages - It is better not to watch them being made."

                                Yes, he really said that...
