And MUCH better implemented than in previous Civ games. I started a game on Noble last night as the Spanish (spiritual wins), and at first there wasn't much of a difference... until about 1500 years or so into the game. At that point, WAVES of Barbarian warriors came streaming into my borders from all sides, causing me to have to juggle my units around and stay on my toes for most of the ancient/classical periods. The wave pattern the raging barbarians follow now is much more realistic than the seemingly random wandering units of previous games. If you find that you usually go the peaceful route, definitely give raging barbs a try. They really add a whole new layer to the early game that's a whole lot of fun.

Not destroying anything? Those damn pillagers are everywhere disrupting my infrastructure...
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

I didn't meant your improvements, but those of the AI civs.

IIRC you can only get up to 10 XP from Barbarians, still useful though.Originally posted by GeoModder

I really don't like the cap on experience from barbarians, is it easy to remove?
edit: OK, the XML got screwed up when I tried to paste it in, but you can search for those terms.Code:ANIMAL_MAX_XP_VALUE 5 BARBARIAN_MAX_XP_VALUE 10

I am liking my terran world. An entire continent apparantly filled with barbarians. It sparks up the mid game with an entire continent to explore and conquer. That's how I prefer my barbarians. Far from my borders.
. I was never a big fan of raging barbs.

damn barbarians actually made me lose my last game! killed 3 settlers and burned down 2 cities grrrr!! not to mention what they did to my poor infrastructure
they had a CITY hidden in the mountains making an expert axeman every 3 turns coming and slaughtering my bowmenI will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
