  • A little more *safe* aggression IN war would be nice from the AI:

I've watched Ai's trounce each other, and it seems like one civ adopts the male/rape stance, the other the female/victim stance. The mongols were pouring into rome and often would have HALF strength cavalry sitting around ONE SQUARE outside a roman town... all alone... the roman town would have cannon, 2 riflemen, whatever inside... and NOT send someone out turn after turn after turn to just whack the cavalry unit.

This is about the biggest concern I've seen so far in game after game.

Maybe the AI saw something you didn't? Or you might be right and the AI is just plain stupid LoL

It could be worse, one time in multiplayer I was trouncing this guy and I had a weakened rifler outside his city. So he decides to send his ONLY defending unit to kill him. Speechless I just sent my cavalry and took the city right from under him LoL

His learning curve was steep that day, yes. He'd probably do that again, and then one more time. But that would be it.
