Mouse Flickers ingame

I've tried looking for this but noone seems to talk about it.

My game runs "smoothly" enough. Sounds skips in intro and wonder movies.

But the most annoying thing is that the mouse flickers everywhere in the game.


I have a 1.7Ghz Pentium M, Geforce Go 6200 TC and some realtec sound card.

I've seen at least one other post about this, but it said basically what you have. The mouse is flickering in game. I have the problem too, but just try to ignore it -- I'm just happy I can run the game.

I have yet to have a CTD, but have had to hard power my system after exiting to desktop (happens ~ once I hit > 6 hours of gameplay in one sitting).

2GHz P4, GeForce4 Ti 4600G, SoundBlaster Live! Value...with intermittent xml startup errors and sound skips during the start of wonder movies only.

I have the same problem with the mouse flickering, but no other problems (so far). Oddly enough, the problem doesn't occur during the tutorial.
