python error

When I start the game, it loads until it gets to the part about python. Then it gives me an error message, and closes. Anyone know what's wrong?

Hmm. I have an idea. Why don't you write down the error message so we can speculate? I mean, for all I know, the error is "+++ out of cucumbers +++", suggesting you need more cucumbers.

well it says failure to load python module, and there are a couple of other messages involving "pyth". Sorry, I don't have the computer right here.

Okay. Well, that's a little more informative. No one else has reported a similar message. What I'd suggest you do is, next time you're at that computer, write the message down as exactly as you can. If your game is loading enough to have a "civilization4.ini" file, turn on logging, and look at the log files created and see whether they have any error messages, too.
