  • Starting War When Leader Refuses to Talk

Simple question: I am attempting to go to war with an AI Civ that refuses to speak through the diplomacy screen and who has closed borders. So I can't declare war this way.

I am also unable to start a war by trying to move my units into his territory - the game simply will not allow me to move in that direction/

Is there another way to start a war?

As I write this my units are parked on the border waiting.

Okay solved the problem. Instead of using the mouse to move my units into territory to declare war, I had to use the numeric key pad. Strange, but, whatever.

If you right click on their territory (and release the button), it will ask you if you want to declare war. You can also Alt-Click on the leader's name to declare war.

Thanks for helpful tips. I read the manual cover to cover, but probably just didn't recall.
