How do you cancel an Open Borders treaty? I tried doing it in the diplomatic screen and by contacting the civ in question and choosing an option to show deals currently in force and had no option there to cancel it.

left mouse button on your site. then you'll be asked if you want to quit the treaty.

In the diplomatic menu (F4) is an option at the bottom for Current treaties. Choose it and it will list all your existing treaties. You can just click off any of them.

Also, you can only cancel them ( same for other trade) after ten turns.

Ah, I was trying to cancel it on their side, and managed to sign another open borders treaty (had 2 active then :hmm: ) instead. Thanks guys.

Btw, is it me or is the AI damn sneaky bastard? I have had a situation many times when they asked for open borders, moved a large army near to my capital and then declared war.

That shouldn't help them since their army should be shifted back out of your nation. That is unless you mean a spot near your capital that isn't under your control.

              That would be sneaky.
