Choosing any leader traits you like or going random

It is possible to choose your own leadership traits at start up for any leader you want?

For example I like Spirtual and Creative which forces me to go with Hattie (Egypt) each time because she is the only one who has that trait.

But if I would prefer to be someone else with the same traits (especially if someone in a LAN game has grabbed the leader I want) is that possible?

I don't know, but I very much agree that I'd like to be able to pick my own characteristics.

It doesn't look like it. I suspect it may have something to do with the unique units possibly - but given that AI leaders can have random traits it seems strange that humans can't.
