I'm ashamed at the content of Wonder movies

Same here, as well as the Interludes. They were pretty redundant after that, and only served to interupt me from the game. Same thing with building the Palace, I always wished I could have turned that off in my games. Am I correct in assuming that's no longer in the game?

The palace is apparently gone, not something i'll miss, apart from on those nights when i'm feeling REALLY vain.

Yeah. I got the image of Civ2 or SMAC style wonder movies. Which I am pretty sure the PR was supposed to evoke. These 'movies' have no selling point except making people think of Civ2/SMAC and possibly CtP.

Using the plural to describe them is misleading. There is one wonder movie really. Guess they had an industrious but uncreative 3D intern?

Calling these 'wonder movies' is about as correct as calling Alexanderplatz an 'action movie'.

I haven't finished my Globe Theater yet but I miss the Wonder Video for Shakespeare's Theater in Civ 2. That and SETI were my favorites.

Fortunately, after the usual "construction" video of the Sistine Chapel, the camera zooms into the building to reveal a scene of the ceiling. Sehr toll.
