Honestly, this is what I had hoped Civ3 would be like. Less micromanagement, better handling of diplomacy, more interesting and yet more attainable tech tree... I like it.
Honestly, I'd probably like it even better with much simpler graphics, so it could play on more hardware, but... The game is solid, I think.
It's still buggy. The tooltips are unreliable, for instance. But the basic game is sound.
