ALT-TAB Problems

When I am playing a succession game, I can ALT & TAB to save screensshots no problem

I am doing a custom setup(Not editor but simply picking certain civs from main screen)

when I press ALT & TAB it goes to desktop, I save the screen shot no problem (with PSP7)

but when I try going back to game the screen is black and then I cant do anything..so I have to restart my pc

I cant go back to desktop or get to game just stays black

any suggestions?

i suggest windowed mod

Go to the /%userdir%/my documents/my games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/civilization4.ini file

find "fullscreen=Yes"
change it to "fullscreen=Ask"

Then each time you boot the game it'll ask you if you want fullscreen or windowed.

It runs very well under windowed

Why alt-tab to save screenshots. It's built into CIV. Just hit the printscreen button and it's dumped into the folder in My Documents.

ok found out about the prt scrn

nice feature

went to the fullscreen=ask got that working
BUT
I have one CTD after another when i escape out of a screen..be it in city screen, diplomacy or civilopedia or wherever

I am not sure why but am going to go back to fullscreen period and then use the above feature instead

had some intersting storyline developing but will do a restart
