Invisible Menus?

Ok, fist I had the black terrain problem, so i went out and bought a new video card.

Now I can't see any of the menus!!!! I AM ROYALLY PISSED!!!
I can play if i geuss where the things i want to click on shold be but this is absolutely retarded

This issue was brought up in another thread. It does not happen to me, but I noticed that Alt-Tabing does affect the main menu appearance. You could try reinstalling the game, but you are probably stuck waiting for the patch.

Just in case: You did install the version of DX that came with Civ4, correct?

It has also been suggested that the menus just have an abnormally large loading time in certain conditions. So, maybe if you load up the game, go eat lunch, and come back you can verify this error and the patch can head in that direction?
