Patch Watch

I was on the phone with 2k support earlier today and was told that a patch would be expected within a couple of days. So I thought I'd start this "Patch Watch" thread for a place for people to post who have more information on this.

It's becoming clear that I won't be able to play the game at all until it's patched. I've tried multiple machines in my house and none of them work.

So I guess I'm just waiting...

That is good news. I have stopped playing the game, crashing to desktop is one thing, blue screening (or rebooting which is same thing) is quite another

I hope this patch will fix graphic problems. I want to play... it's been so long waiting !!!!

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. My game runs relatively smooth and I was able to play for 4 hours with no gameplay problems once I shut off the Fog of War.

How do you shut off fog of war? that may help me, too.

Go into World Builder. It's there somewhere.

I was lucky enough to get my ATI problem fixed but I still have other problems.

It usually takes 2-4 tries of running the exe to actually get it to begin loading. Yes, I've waited and no, I am not running multiple Civilization4.exe's.

Tutorial just crashes to the desktop.

I too will be watching -somewhat- patiently for a Patch... I hope there is one in the works and that it will fix my problems... -Waiting-*
