Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Oh, hell, copy protection
No, you do not know that. How do you know that patents, trademark and copyright has in any way improved the progress of our civilization?
I believe that free sharing of information and technology would only improve on our development. It would make it easier for smaller companies / groups. It would make it possible for groups of people to join in cooperatives producing the technology of their intrest, etc. IP and especially patents are only a means for the rich and/or big companies to clinge to their power. They rather release improvements on technology in small increments than utilize the full potential of our technology. Why invent the weel twice? How could it possible be any good for our development that everyone always needs to invent the wheel themselves?
NO I think you are in denial and that you has swallowed the IP propaganda. IP is *bad* restricting flow of information is *bad*, always. Ordinary humans does not need IP to invent, they mostly invent of intrest; just look at all the great scientists in universities, they dont get any good payment at all compared to rich business executives; still its the scientists and engineers that are behind all of our modern technology - not the business people. There is lots of other ways and possibilites to fund scientists and engineers, we dont have to protect corporations to do it.

Worst. Argument. Ever. You are either felony stupid or in
felony denial. The only reason you have this game to play , a computer to play it on, and an internet on which to expound your not even half-assed theories are because of
copyright, trademark, patents, etc..
