    The Radeon 7500 is listed on the Civ IV box, by name, as a card that will work! If I look at a game box and it lists my vidcard as one that works, then, oddly, I think it will work! How can this be "asking for trouble"? I'm going by what the freaking box says!

      If you have any expereince with PC games (not limited to games or PC btw) you should know that minimum is risky. I agree with you that it should work but it's risky nonetheless. When was the last time you believed a PR guy?
      It may be something else causing it, if the card is nearly drowning, it won't take much to make it sink.

      Don't get me wrong here, I really hope your problem will be solved as soon as posible but in all honesty, if I had your card, I wouldn't have bought it or upgraded first.
