  • City view and construction que

Is that how you spell it? Memory fails. It is que?

    Anyway...

I'm really loving CivIV...but something that's making things frustrating is the que. You can't insert things, move things around, etc. too easily. As well the buildings you can build are right to lef. It was so much easier with a pull down list. I guess i'm just going to have to memorize every single image for each thing you can build . Right now it takes so damn long to set up a que.

and this post is going to look silly if i'm spelling that wrong.

Its called queue, well at least spelled like this.

So far I haven't figuered out how this should work, I figured out how can I add an item, how I can remove an item. But I haven't figured out how to insert an item right in the middle. So far the CTP2 queue is more intuitive.

However you can hower over the build item with the mouse to get extra info, but I aggree that the most important info displayed in one line for a glance would be much more helpful.

In one of the reviews, Gamespot I believe, they did mention that you can insert into the queue, though I don't remember how it was done.

        Small view of buildings too

It's also such a teeny tiny window at the bottom of the city window in which you get to pick the upgrade you want. I much prefer the window that pops up when the game asks you what to build next.

Is there any way to pop that window up on command?

If not is there any way to resize the city improvement list inside the city screen?

I agree. It is a very smallish window. Maybe the window should slide up out of the bottom of the screen when the cursor rollls over it. Then any kind of info needed whould have plenty of room to exsist there.
