Civ4 on Windows XP 64-bit?

Hi, everyone.
I just got this game a while ago and I installed it on my 64-bit system running Windows XP 64-bit edition. After the installation, I tried to run the game and nothing ever happened. I saw the problems that ATi users were having, and I was wondering if the fix for that may be the fix that would work for me. However, I have an nVidia GeForce 6600GT with the ForceWare 81.85 drivers installed, not a ATi card.
Any thoughts?

I am running Win XP Pro 64 and using a 6600GT pci-e video card, and no problems what-so-ever, other than the skipping sound (which seems to be fixed now).

So, windows 64 is not the problem - it works for me.

I installed it at work, on a machine running XP Pro 64-bit. Forgot to check the graphics card. Ran fine.
