This is why my "purchasing" habits are "borrow it from a friend" (an annonymous, distant friend whom I've never met) who'll send it to me via some special program, then buy it on budget when it should work and my hardware is high-level enough to let me play it.

Seriously, I do not have a top of the line system. I'm running on a 4 year old Athlon at 1.7 GHz and I can run this game fine. It is not a matter of having the best hardware necessarily. In fact, I've read several posts where people have gone out and bought 256MB video cards just to run this game and it still not work. Hopefully this packfile fix that they just posted will solve this problem, but if I can run the thing I would think most people could.
