I can run it OK with all the graphics minimized but its still a bit jumpy. Does anyone have advice on how I can tweak it down even more that shown in the options menu. Some way to turn off the diplomacy animations maybe?

I would also like to know how to turn off the Diplomacy animations. I don't particularly like them, and they really slow down my game.

Anyone? I know there's some serious modding skills out there? how can we turn off Diplomacy animations and other things that slow down the game on our crappy computers?

I would like to get rid of all animations as well. I don't have the game yet and my system is new, but there is no point having animations in a civ game. It is a waste of time in my opinion. I would rather the game run even faster. Will someone be able to get rid of all animations through a mod?
