Can't even get to the install screen?

The install shield immediately goes to the screen that states:

Setup has experienced an error.

Please close all open programs
Please empty your temp folder
Check your Internet Connection (for internet based setups)

Then try to run setup again

Error code: -6003

I have been trying all different combos of the above suggestions. Nothing works!! I was wondering if anyone else has gotten around this error.

First thing... clean up your disk, then reboot and try again. After that? I wonder what OS you are running. What flavor of Windows is it?
