AGP vs. PCI/PCIe cards?

Apologies if I missed it elsewhere but is the ATI rendering problem affecting both AGP and PCI/PCIe versions of their respective cards? I have the AGP version of the X800XL. Could it be an AGP bus issue?

i have two systems, both with ATi agp cards. works on one, not on the other. same mobos, also.

Using AGP here. Works on my comp w/ 9800 PRO AGP, but not on my other w/ X800 PRO AGP

I did notice that futzing with the bios seemed to affect it (thought didn't get past it)

going to try to dumb it down to 4x, and see what happens
