i have an LCD. was concerned that it was perhaps starting up with something unacceptable, but couldnt find anything out.

I do. I have dual monitors, one of them shut off for simplifications...so I'm using my LCD, which is the primary.

I also have both usually dual. Throughout the day I've tried each one individually and with each set as the primary while on dual.

By the way, should it be of any import: I'm using a DVI cable to connect my LCD.
