  • Naming the mini-towns on the map

wouldnt it be nice if you could name the mini-towns you see on the map after they develop into the towns? Your main cities are your major large cities like New York, LA, Chicago for example and then u can name the smaller towns like St. Louis etc.....

I dont know kindof like u have more cities but you are just focused on the major cities for game control and you can name your minor cities/towns. Wouldnt have a functional purpose with the current implementation but I just thought that would be kindof cool/interesting.

You can name points on the map, so you can name towns if you want to.

Hmm, may sound nice but I think it's just going to clutter the map.

Then give me clutter! I remember one Sim City 2000 game where I had EVerything labelled, to the point where in the town's "historic" district I couldn't see well enough to make adjustments.

This brings up my next question: is the single square the minimum unit that can be named, or is the minimum unit that can be named a group of squares (like name landmark function in SMAC)?
