  • YOUR REVIEW of Civ4

We have two ways to post your review of Civ4:

    1) Post your full review in a thread (with [Review] tag in the subject) in the Stories/Reviews forum

You can use the Upload Service to store screenshots

    2) Post your short review and your rating in the Directory

    3) Just use this rating form from the Directory (you need to be registered and logged in)

    Rating
    Excellent!
    Very Good
    Good
    Fair
    Poor

We hope that we have as many player reviews as possible so that we can help other civers make their purchase choices!

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Markos:

The Stories and Review link doesn't work. Is the forum ready?
I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

Wait a minute. You don't need reviews. You already paid for your Civ4 and are going to review the game for everybody else. You trying to copy from your neighbor's paper?

If I had my copy on hand, I'd change my mind and do a first day review. (Well, actually, I can't, but hypothetically speaking!)

You can read my first-day review of Civ3 again, though! That's got to be better than looking at an empty review forum. (Gosh, at least I hope so!) If you tape over the number 3 with masking tape and pencil in a 4 on the back of the tape, that's the next best thing, right?

I'm trying to review the game for myself to decide if I actually want my copy or not. Actually, reading your day 1 review of Civ 3 might be fun.

I soooo wanna do a day 1 review.

Not sure if stores in downtown Montreal have copies yet tho. Find out in about 2 hours.

Yin, I remember you have done a sort of Universal Rating System for Civ 3. Do you remember it? Something like a questionaire that would link player preferences to the review result in an explicit way. Or maybe not exactly that, but a sort of half-automated way to see if you will like the game? I can't remember exactly what it was, but I thought it was a cool concept back then.

Do you still have it and could you post it?

Indeed! Wow. Somebody remembered. In fact, I plan to use this system again for Civ 4...if I ever get my copy!!!
