Ata, that would be BST, not GMT.

Hopefully, I'll have the game in my hot little hands BEFORE the chat.

anybody who actually HAS the game at that moment should NOT be chatting in IRC but playing the goddamn game

Can we have a couple of different time notations cause I'm getting confused.

Do you honestly think anybody knows what BST means and do you honestly think anybody cares what it means? And does anybody care about EST?
Everybody knows his GMT offset, so why not use GMT?

No, actually GMT is usually used to actually refer to GMT, BST is used to referred to current London time. Since not the whole world uses summer time, or switches at the same time when they do, this is actually pretty significant.

The difference between current British time and GMT is extremely important in late October. Some northern hemisphere countries that observe daylight savings may be off it by then. (Neither the US nor EU will be)

While in the southern hemisphere among those that observe it, some countries will already be on, and others still off as well.

Well, people who have the game can simply spawn out to report what they're doing.

Wish there was an option to have spectators for a MP game.

I just need to know one simple thing-what time should I come online to participate in the chat, given that I live in Adelaide S.A. i.e. what time, Australian Central Time, should I check this out?

Oh and, any idea if Soren et al will be joining in the chat !

                              Yours,
