      Hmmm... it's not the cpu I'm worried about. I just hope my GeForce FX Go5700 (64MB) is able to show some smooth graphics.

        This isn't Half-Life 2, remember . The 5700 is able to render practically anything, and Civ4 doesn't have such awesome special effects or stuff that the card could choke .

        Anyway, single-unit graphics is also a nice performance option to reduce the load on the video card.

          Civ Traits

          Great information. Thanks.

          I haven't seen anything discussing traits of the various civs. Do any traits seem more powerful or advantageous thus far? imo, the the industrious trait in Civ3 was great and the expanionist trait was almost worthless. Thanks!
