The "ingame browser" is connected to the same GS system as Arcade is, so Arcade specific code problems are avoided, but GS server issues, if any, are not. I can't say I'm a big GS fan either, but I've had little to complain about.Originally posted by Adagio

The reason I hate it is mostly because you have to open a different program to find people to play against (I simply hate that), but as long as there's the same options in the game I don't have anything to complain about

That's what I'm scared of, what if my internet connection goes down for several days, then I wont be able to play Civ IV anymore, since I don't want to play SP
Plus I kinda suck at Civ (I've managed to lose all 5 PBEM games of Civ3 I've tried)

Take a look at the screenshots in Cheiftess's MP Preview, I think you will find that in many cases players can do without Arcade all together now, the CIV MP interface is several levels better than that of C3C.Originally posted by Adagio
