One of those thing that I heard one day is that a human will spend 24/7 for 365 day in the restroom in his/her life time.

I'm sure there are plenty of people that top that.

I can't stand music in games, music while installing is even worse

Oh please, just level down or mute your *Windows* volume before launching the install, and don't waste your time on this kind of posts!

BTW, with a nick as "Adagio" you shouldn't be against in-game music...

Well, it also depends if we are allowed to chose a small install (music anim and video kept on the game DVD) or a full install, tools and extra included. It can take a while to copy the best part of a 4.7GB DVD...

Muting Windows? That's not an option! How am I going to listen to Winamp (or online radio) during the install then?

                  I can't live without music

Plans are being made to spend a hundred billion hours playing Civ 4 and concerns are voiced about the install time.

                    ( I voted black socks, btw )

Heresy! Do you let your computer spend CPU time on others tasks while installing Civ?

Isn't it forbidden, like playing gameboy at church (or temple, or any religious place at your choice)? Pay attention to relevant things!

Or listen to the radio, iPod, HiFi DVD, original walkman: if anything else unavailable, humm, whistle or sing by yourself...
