How Random Can the Setup Go?

Hey Knowers,

How random a setup will be possible in Civ 4? Will I be able to, for example, do all of this?

Random Map Size.

Random Random Map Type (like either choosing a random template or having ocean, age, and vegatation levels randomized).

Random Number of AI Opponents.

Randomly Chosen Leaders (for me as well).

Randomized Personalities for Leaders.

(and just for the Heck of it) Random Era.

This, I think, would be the ultimate adapt or die kind of random map scenario!

I suppose because, Civ3, you could find out your opponent's identity from the colour of his borders, before you had a contact with him.

Yeah, it is. And while it often is a valuable response, I hope people understand that we should expect that Firaxis do some of the work too...

How about a random tech tree?

Yeah! We should be able to get a tech tree where the basic techs gives us tanks and spaceships! After all, why should our historical progression be the only possible?
