Gamespot has some information on religion and some new screens.
there's a nice shot of railroads and some modern infantry.

2K Games and Firaxis reveal details on the new religion-based gameplay in the highly anticipated strategy sequel.

They have an SS of a hut (don't know if we've actually seen those before).

Yeah, the information is pretty thin, but the screens aren't bad.

Man, this goofy 3D look just scares me more and more.

I liked the SS with the railroads. Looks like they were in nearly every square. I noted there were no bridges across the water ( ).

I would like to see a train crossing this railroad.

Perhaps the rail line has fallen into disuse.

It'd take a loooot of disuse for trees to grow that big

I had hoped they finally would have gotten rid of this. Can't they just add some maintance cost to roads/Railroads?

                            Looks good

I am now fond of the unit scaling. With the level of detail of the cities, smaller units would soon be difficult to detect. With the current scaling, it's very easy to spot them. And if it's simple toggle the display of units (hotkey?), you can have a good glimpse on the cities AND a good glimpse on the military aspect

It's also in the ancient ages. I imagine they were just showing off the railroad graphics, not showing something that would occur in-game
