Hi there.
I haven't read the entire board, so forgive any redundancy.
I'd like a "rally point" for military units to go to upon being built.
I'd like a default build order for new cities.
I can live without the palace. If it's still around, I'd like to be able to turn it off.
I think there should be some "blank" civs so you can use the Civ editor more freely without removing any existing Civs.
I had a thought about civil wars: several adjacent cities in disorder could "rebel" and create their own civ! It would automatically be at war with you, with a negotiation option that allows you to placate it somehow--I'm still considering what that would require--and bring it back into your nation.
After much thought, I've determined that the game doesn't need naval technologies earlier in the game, as I have believed for a long time. The simplification of the map simply doesn't allow for the island-hopping that allowed early humans to colonize much of the world.
Perhaps a "maritime" trait that allows civs like the Phoenicians, Polynesians, and Vikings additional movement, reduced shield cost, or UUs would help retain that flavor without affecting the game much.
I know I had more ideas that I'd like to see in the game, but now that I've hunted down this board, I'm all blank.
