Is there any word about which scenarios are going to be included with the game? Also, which scenarios would you like to see included?

Of course, I am happy there will be extensive modding capability that will allow us to create our own scenarios, but it would nevertheless be nice if some scenarios were included with the game.

I would like to see a WWII scenario included with the game (just like there was with Civ II and Civ III - hopefully WWII Europe or worldwide - the Pacific War was interesting, but I am more interested in the European theater]) and a couple of scenarios from before the 20th century.

I've been a fan of world-wide WWII scenarios. I'd also like to see one that covers the rise and fall of Rome and maybe the Crusades.
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)

I'd like to see lesser known WWI scenarios- like the British and Portuguese and South Africans versus the Germans in East and South-West Africa.

Yeah, I'd really like to see those included.
