Nobody will yell at you for asking a simple question. Of course, searching this part of the forum would have given you your answer, but no problem.

There will be a Civ4. It's made by Firaxis, the company where Sid Meier works. Nobody knows who owns the rights to cIV(abbrivation for Civ4), but the new ownership will probably not influence the making of the game(as far as we know). Nobody knows when the game will be released.

If you wonder on something else, just ask.

there is going to be a Civ4, but it won't be for a while... if you need some civ to tide you over, I would recommend Civ3 Conquests... but check out Rome: Total War first. Civ as we know it is obsolete. Rome: Total War is the newest strategy type game that features both RTS and TBS. It is far superior to Civ series.

Civ4 better be really innovative if it hopes to become teh supreme TBS.
To us, it is the BEAST.

What the heck, Total War isnt even close to CIV, they are two different genres of games! Total war is a Wargame! CIV is a 4X game.
        Owww, I'm so cute! ^_^

And I absolutely hate the real time part... The TBS part, if worked some more with on the other hand.

            Late 2005.

Note that Conquests itself isn't a stand-alone game, just an expansion.

              The perfect game

I want a game exactly like Civ thats turned based but when i go into battle field veiw I can command my units with a battle feild menu that crossed with C&C and Rise of Nations.

hopefully civ 4 wont go into that sort of detail.. th ebig thing of civ is the empire building not the war ...

if it gets down to the nitty gritty of battlefield managment i doubt i will be buying it.

lets hope it sticks to its heritage ..

Not only that, you would never be able to finish a single game.

                    I would love it.
                    I bought civ III complete
Its very different from my call to power game, but I like what I see
