Changing max civs limit in custom game?

can anyone tell me how to do this? I know its probably easy, and I did it in Warlords but can't figure out how I did it and how to do it with BTS. Any assistance would be appreciated.

If you mean more than 18 civs in a game, then you need to use the SDK, which means using a compiler like Microsoft Visual Studio or Codeblocks.

Open CvDefines.h and alter MAX_CIVS from 18 to whatever you want. Then recompile.

Doesn't work.......I have Vis. C++ 2008.....opened the file.....changed the max #.......but I can still only play 18 Civs.......where are these Mods that do it for me?....I can't find them
