Loading a mod

Hi everyone

I have downloaded severel MODs, and placed them in the c:\program files/firaxis games/civilization 4/warlords/mod folder

ANd when I load the game, and go -->advanced --> load a mod --> and then choose the MOD to load, civ4 exits and appears to be loading. BUt nothing further happens.

Also I tried to put it in the my games folder in documents. With the same result.

Both Civ4 and Warlords has been patched and is up to date, but I can't find a way to get the mods to work

is the mod a C4 vanilla only and you DL'd into the warlord folder ?

Did you unzip in the folder ?

I tend to restart my computer after DL'ng anything.
I have yet to have a problem

The mod was specifically stated to be for warlords. And I've tried unzipping into both the c:\programmer\firaxis games\civilization\warlords\MOD

and the c:\documents and settings\my games\warlords\MOD

with the same result
